Better lighting is safer lighting. Elimination of hot spots and shadowing reduces accidents and injuries.
PRODUCTIVITY
When better quality light is introduced into manufacturing and assembly work stations finished product quality is improved and defect rates are reduced. Studies have also shown that quality control inspection stations when equipped with LED lighting improve worker performance. Defect detection accuracy is significantly enhanced particularly during the last hour of a work shift – due solely to less eye fatigue experienced by the inspector.
